ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
AutoCAD is one of the standard programs used for 2D CAD work, and once you're familiar with that, moving into 3D is easy too. Favoured by architects and engineers in particular, it is great for getting better control over your vector lines - very handy for making up cutting layouts for laser cutting or CNC routing in the MAKlab.
In this workshop, you will be introduced to some of AutoCAD's basic tools, some easy to use shortcuts and a few examples of workflow favoured by our staff at MAKLab. Laptops and software will be provided for the workshop.
