MAKLab is happy to host ONO for an evening of artist talks and workshops on the 29th June 2016.
A collaboration between artists-designers-printmakers Jamie Temple and Helen Ashton, ONO curate and programme exhibitions, events and workshops with a focus on finding fun and engaging ways of sharing their passion for making and print.
A combined wealth of printmaking knowledge and expertise serves as the foundation for their collaborative approach and key to their success is a desire to take printmaking out of the studio and into new environments, promoting inclusivity and learning through participation.
This summer Jamie and Helen are venturing to the island of Iona, making stop-offs along the way to discuss their collaborative work and run printmaking workshops. On Wednesday June 29th they will be dropping in to MAKLab in Glasgow to talk about collaboration and printmaking, followed by a drop in workshop giving participants the chance to test out their new printmaking kit and make some prints and badges to take home.
