Our Glasgow studio is our flagship space and is also the base for our senior management and administration.

We opened our new facility in April 2014 and have continued to expand the resources offered from there.

Located 5 minutes walk from Glasgow Central Station, our manufacturing facility is equipped with industrial scale equipment alongside a construction and assembly space.
The two 80m long railway arches offer the scale of technologies normally only found in factories and industry.
The resource is also used to train young people, deliver workshops and produce bespoke commission work.
The facility is also our depot for material deliveries and processing of large format work alongside small scale finishing.

In partnership with UPLAND, MAKLab Dumfries offers opportunities to young people, craft practitioners and makers, as well as members of the public and gives local businesses access to some of the latest digital making equipment and materials.

LAUNCHED WINTER 2015
In partnership with Wick High School, MAKLab North provides access to the latest digital tools for the young people of the school and surrounding area as well as the local community and industry.
Over the coming months, a mobile resource will also be established allowing the young people and their school to offer workshops, events and outreach projects across the North East of Scotland.
Funding was kindly granted to support the ambitions of the young people by SSE.
