ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Make a Waterproof Backpack is a great workshop for people who have some experience of hand or machine sewing and want to expand their skills with new materials and processes.

In this workshop, you will learn how to make a backpack using waterproof nylon and MAKLab's industrial sewing machines. Waterproof nylon can be very tricky to sew using a domestic sewing machine and will often yield poor results. Come learn to sew it using the right tools with our industrial overlocker and lockstitch and make a durable backpack you'll want to use every day!

YOUNG MAKERS
This workshop can be suitable for teenagers from the age of 11 - 16 yrs old, if accompanied by a supervising adult.
